The one that exist in perpetuity is the one that we call God.

On the hand, atheism, cannot account for existence, morality, or rationality.

  2. xtrashed says:

How do you explain the absolute universality of objective intelligibility? Why should the world, in every corner, be knowable? Or to put it in Paul Davies’s language, “where do the laws of nature come from?” Most scientists just back away from that question, but I agree with Davies that it is intensely interesting. What seems obvious is that the universe is not dumbly there but intelligibly there. And that indicates a great intelligence that gave rise to it.

  3. chrisrees67 says:

your doing it again. equating all unknowns to the existence of god. not knowing where the laws of nature come from doesn’t mean it was intelligently designed. and to say the cause of an effect proves existence which must be the one you call god demonstrates a total abandonment of any logic, and most definitely the complete absence of any evidence. unlike scientific endeavor were facts and research are used to achieve a conclusion. and although they haven’t got all the facst religion has none.

  4. xtrashed says:

I’ve asked you, as an atheist, to explain to me the absolute universality of objective intelligibility? Where do the laws of nature come from?

I’m still waiting for your answer.

And by the way, modern Science wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for Christianity. The overwhelming majority of the first professional scientists in Europe were Christians, they viewed their work as a fulfillment of Christian objectives.

  5. xtrashed says:

Even the most secular scientist presumes that nature embodies not only order but simplicity and beauty. This is the Christian residue of modern science. It is the little whisper, if we will hear it, that science even today rests on religious foundations. Even secular scientists cannot get away from these Christian assumptions, and some of the most perceptive of them have recognized this. Einstein confessed that ”in every true searcher of nature there is a kind of religious reverence.”

  6. xtrashed says:

Biologist Joshua Lederberg recently told ’science’ magazine, ”What is incontrovertible is that a religious impulse guides our motive in sustaining scientific inquiry.” That impulse came originally from Christianity.

I am amazed at the deficiency of understanding of theology and science, etc.

Natural law mandates we need to have restraint of some kind to survive. Animals as well as humans instinctively know this. God was in vented by man as a way of explaining there existence before the various forms forensic science. Religion did not stop the slaughtering of Indians and enslavement of blacks, common sense and ever changing personal moral standard did. Religion did not stop a Romain Catholic from slaughtering 6,000,000 Jews aether.

    xtrashed,

Pat yourself on the back for regurgitating enough 2-dollars words to sound sensical, but at the end of the day, we’re trying to steer the ship of unknowns towards scientific mystery that one day will be discovered, while you’re trying to steer the ship of unknowns into a garden with talking snakes controlled by horned demon monsters fallen from a land of flying cherubs in the sky.

No psuedo-intellectual lipstick can doll that pig up enough for us to not notice it’s still a pig.

  13. backgammonnn123 says:

dbzman your a moron. Science today points more compellingly towards god then it does to there not being a god, and hitler was an atheist , whose parent tried to make him go to mass and he never went lol. Hitcler was a pure atheists and actually wanted to see christianity destroyed and even said so. Atheistic leaders like mao, pol pot, lenin and stalin combined killed over 100 million people in less then 100 years, more then all the combined religious wars in history. Atheism is a dangerous cult

  14. backgammonnn123 says:

again slithering your decptive posts making blanket statements against one religious and applying it to all religious groups , shows not only your stupidity but hidden intentions. Most christians today understand that both the book of genesis and revelations were written conceptually and not litterally you moron. Why dont you talk about how the famous atheist scientist richard dawkins is a coward to face doctor william lane criag on the scientific evidence of the existence of god loud mouth

  15. backgammonnn123 says:

Xtrashed, how dare you talk to a moron like slithering as if he were an intelligent human being who can comprehend intellectuality. loooooooooool

  16. backgammonnn123 says:

Chris, i think what he is saying is that there is good evidence that points towards gods existence and nothing to point away from his existence. Fine tuning is just one piece of evidence that points towards gods existence you moron. This is why sir frederick hoyle and doctor anthony flew , both huge atheistic figures of the 20th century started believing in god. Flew was asked why he believed in god and he said ” I simply followed the evidence” You biased moronic atheists should try it also

  17. xtrashed says:

    @backgammonnn123

    What do you mean?

  18. dbzman1985 says:

“I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.”
    -Adolf Hitler

  19. dbzman1985 says:

I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so.

    -Adolf Hitler

  20. dbzman1985 says:

The folkish-minded man, in particular, has the sacred duty, each in his own denomination, of making people stop just talking superficially of God’s will, and actually fulfill God’s will, and not let God’s word be desecrated. For God’s will gave men their form, their essence and their abilities. Anyone who destroys His work is declaring war on the Lord’s creation, the divine will.
    -Adolf Hitler

  21. dbzman1985 says:

I don’t believe in things that can not be seen using machines of some kind and(not or) focal records.
you can not prove god exist all you have to defend you are self is insults it is obvious you are an ignorant(not stupid) person and I forgive you. peace

  22. dbzman1985 says:

I took some time out of my day off of work (that thing that helps me pay bills) to reply to you now quit being a bigot just because you CHOSE TO BE A CHRISTION.

  23. slitheringinterstate says:

    backgammon123,

I just wish your IQ wasn’t so tiny. Your contradictions are infinite. The old “since books of the bible are insane, let’s claim they’re metaphorical” copout eh? Based on your hatred and vitriol, it’s clear you took “love thy neighbor as thyself” as not literal either lol. Nothing funnier than a low IQ christian abandoning the Bible’s teachings to defend the absurd.

When you resume your unchristian hate, spell “litterally” correct when in same sentence as moron accusals lol

  24. foxpawz says:

wow i have the same religion as pitt and never quite knew how to say it even if i would say i’m 90% atheits and 10% agnostic…but it’s brad pitt. so. what was i saying? damn he’s gorgeous.

  25. bluecobalt27 says:

Isn’t agnosticism just America’s acceptable euphemism for atheism?
