the problem is that there is not only one person who committed these horrible acts in Pakistan. There are millions of people in Pakistan who chant sologans against the USA and if they all fine chance, they would do anything to destroy lives in America… I wish we bombed Pakistan to stone ages as Richard Armitage one suggested.
why the fuck are they laughing? they are discussing her husband being kidnapped, and decapitated, you think they would be a little depressed, they seem happy, “Boy I’m happy that my husband was decapitated so now I can collect royalties”
their laughter is so irrelevant…it was a quick switch of subject…gosh, learn to recognize …stop being a sour apple!
Please read her book because if you do, you will understand how great the heart of this woman is and how vaste her life condition. She is laughing because she was able to overcome the horrible pain of her husband’s loss and move forward dispite the horror that occurred to her. She is laughing because her faith in life and human being is stronger than sorrow and hatred. And because she was able to forgive. Please read her book. We are humbled reading it. Thanks
I might do that, and I didn’t mean to be disrespectful, I just took it the wrong way..
why is a white woman playing a black woman?…this is crazy….and they say hollywood isn’t racists
Thank you for your answer. It touched me that you replied
Have a good evening!
you too!
yes, why is it a white woman is playing pearl when there are so few roles for black leading women
why are you calling mariane black, she is not white or black, she is mixed race. if a black woman played it you could easil say its racist not to have chosen a whit woman…and if you’ve seen the film, you see how similar angie looks to Mariane, so dont give me all this racist crap…
Since when is Angelina Jolie white?
JOLIE IS WHITE………
As a woman of color, how do you feel about being played by Angelina Jolie in the movie?
“I have heard some criticism about her casting, but it is not about the color of your skin. It is about who you are. I asked her to play the role-even though she is way more beautiful than I am-because I felt a real kinship to her. She put her whole heart into it, and I think she understood why we should do this movie. We had something to say that we knew we should say together.”
Mariane Pearl-2007interview
i thin she is mixed race
she is.. what do you think she was lol ?
excuse me but who cares?? You people obviously dont understand her message anyway .. How much does her skin tone or her religion or her sex matter? I’ll answer that ….. IT DOESNT MATTER AT ALL.. .. i dont care if angelina jolie is blue the point is she got the story right and thats whats important!
She looks more white than Black. that why
rafto129—thank you..*finally* someone that actually “get’s it”…..His story broke my heart from the beginning.
I saw the movie and i think mariane and angelina DID get the message right. Some people just hate angelina (tabloid sheep)
Back to the story……For them to ALL come together (in a place there are SO many people they don’t even know how to count them) was TRULY incredible!! against all odds to find out what happened to one man– daniel pearl was nothing short of miraculous
JOLIE IS WHITE
No she is Iroquois, French-Canadian and German.
Not white.
those who killed him arent muslim these are pure murderers. r.i.p daniel pearl,he was a good person who tried to do even more good and got killed for it. im so sorry for your loss.
i saw the movie and documantary and it touched me. great story . its sad to see a child grow up without a father because of this. he wasnt a financier or a dictator or a guy droping bombs on inocent children. but like the saying says only the good die young. on both side there is the need to kill the inocent. daniel was just trying to find the truth. i wish their were more daniels we would know who are behind this war and bring them all to justice. it is always the inocent that die.
french canadian and german is white
how can those people not see Afia Siddiqui a much braver woman…who’s every day is a struggle…
i wanna meet angelina
